Mission The mission of the Voorheesville Running and Cycling Club (VRCC) is to support and develop an active community.

  2. Encourage people of all ages to join us outside
  3. Build community through shared experiences

We believe many hands make light work — VRCC is powered by volunteers, and every event runs because our community shows up for each other.

Our Story The Voorheesville Running and Cycling Club was established in 2022 as a merger of the Voorheesville Family Bicycling Day (VFBD) and the Voorheesville Memorial Day Race organizations. By combining resources, the club has grown beyond its two founding events to build a broader, year-round community.

2026 is a milestone year for VRCC: we're celebrating 50 years of the Memorial Day Races and 10 years of Bicycling Day, alongside our newest signature event, the Glow Festival.
