Glow and Give: A Night of Fun and Charity

VRCC is excited to announce a unique and fun event that combines the thrill of glow disc golf with a charitable cause.
The Glow Disc Golf Event and Bike Donation Drive will take place in October 2025 (exact date to be determined) at Stephen Wallace Park. This evening event will offer participants a chance to enjoy a night of glow-in-the-dark disc golf while supporting a meaningful cause. The goal of the event is to collect 50 high-quality bicycles for the Albany Bike Rescue, which will be donated to children in need.
Come join us as we light up the front nine holes of Stephen Wallace disc golf course. The course will be illuminated with glow-in-the-dark markers, and participants will use glow discs and UV flashlights to navigate the course. The glow disc golf experience will be a memorable and visually stunning activity for all participants.
Participants are encouraged to bring a high-quality bicycle to donate to the Albany Bike Rescue. http://www.albanybikerescue.org/ For every donated bike, the donor will receive a free glow disc and the opportunity to play a round of glow disc golf at no cost. VRCC’s goal is to collect at least 50 bikes for children in need, providing them with the joy and freedom that comes with owning a bike.
